Get your vehicle ready for summer at Mazda of Fargo

Here in Fargo, it's easy to get excited about the coming summer months as we take in the warmer temperatures of spring and say farewell to our long, cold winter. As you might have guessed, you can do more to get your vehicle ready for the warm summer months besides just changing out the snow tires. The factory-trained technicians in our service center can give you expert advice and the right maintenance for your vehicle regardless of the make or model. In addition, we make sure that your Mazda will get genuine Mazda parts so you can maintain the same original equipment quality your vehicle was built with. Here's an overview of the summer services we offer for your vehicle at Mazda of Fargo in Fargo ND. The summer services we recommend for your vehicle Depending on the make and model you drive, your maintenance checklist might be different from what other vehicles require. But there are some core maintenance services that every vehicle can benefit from as we head into the summer months. Here are some of the basic requirements that can help keep your vehicle running at its best: Oil change Wheel alignment and tire rotation Tire change Battery service Brake care Oil change The basic oil change is probably the single most essential routine maintenance you can have us do for your vehicle. As temperatures warm up, there's a lot more heat on your engine. If the oil is getting dirty, it can start to break down and won't protect your engine like it should. Flushing out the old oil and filling your crankcase with fresh new lubrication can help protect your engine and keep it running properly when the heat is on this summer. Wheel alignment and tire rotation You can knock your wheels out of alignment just by running over a pothole that could be the aftermath of our rugged winter weather. We can check your alignment and get your wheels aligned properly to help you steer more safely and help your tires last longer as you travel around Hillsboro or Grand Forks ND. In addition, we recommend getting a tire rotation with every oil change. That helps your tires wear more evenly and last longer. Battery service Extreme weather, both hot and cold, can be hard on your battery. The long winter months may have drained the energy in your battery and you might not know it until your battery fails and leaves you stranded on a hot summer day. We can give your battery a load test and make sure it has enough juice to start your vehicle regardless of the temperatures outside. If you need a new battery, we have some great ones in stock and we can install one for you. Tire change Your tires might be another casualty of winter weather, after traveling many miles over slippery, snow-covered roads and dodging the potholes that cold weather and icy conditions can leave behind. We can check the tread depth of your tires to make sure you have enough rubber to keep you and your family safe as you travel down the highway. If you need new tires, we offer first-class tires from brands like Dunlop, Bridgestone, Hankook and Goodyear. Brake care After enduring months of snow, salt and rain throughout the winter, your brakes and rotors might be wearing out. We can check your brake pads and rotors to be sure you can stop safely. If you need new brakes, one of our experts can install them for you. Read about how to get your vehicle ready for summer at Mazda of Fargo in Fargo ND.
